The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 24,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 9 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

This report is an opportunity for a very lazy post and to say thanks to all those who have followed and commented on my blog in 2013. I use my blog to express my thoughts, fears, hopes and desires…. the emotional highs and lows of living with myeloma. That anyone reads it, likes it, connects with it and comments on it is a bonus. The most popular, most read post and search term which takes people to my blog is “frothy urine”! Are they taking the piss!
Happy new year Wendy. Hope 2014 is very very good to you. Jean x
Thanks Jean and the same to you, I look forward to playing words with friends with you in 2014
Lol I hope that’s not ‘frothy urine’ in your glass and something rather more tasty instead
Were you in clinic yesterday morning?
Best wishes for 2014
Jane Ww
Hi Jane, thanks and the same to you, yes I was in the clinic waiting room, but just there for a blood test for the trial I’m on and to hand over a large container of urine aptly enough! I heard your name being called out a couple of times but you must have been elsewhere and then I was seen to, hope your clinic appointment was ok and you are doing well. Let me know when you are next in, if it is a Monday then I might be in for treatment so maybe we could meet up?
onnellista uutta vuotta! (As they say in Finland) 😉💃👭🎣🎿
Godt Nyttår (only fair to say it in Norwegian too!)
Hi Wendy I rarely make a comment on your blog but readit avidly. I go through the ups and downs and the highs and lows with you – sometimes I can’t sleep but I am happy for you when you can get away and enjoy a break and almost feel (normal). You have had a mixed and frustrating year in many respects. Really hope that 2014 will bring good results for you. Love you so much mum
Hey Wendy great news about the remission, sending a big scouse hug and happy 2014 for you xx
Thanks Jacqui and a happy new year to you too xx
Happy New Year to you as well! I’d love to ask you a few questions about your diagnosis when you have a chance. Thanks!
